I did another 2300 words today…WooHoo. Especially since I got a total of maybe 2 hours sleep last night. Used that handy-dandy little voice recorder and left tons of notes for myself. I’m really pleased with how the story is going. It’s much stronger.

I’ve also spent a bit of time researching HazMat suits. Got a really great post from a yahoo group I’m on by someone who is trained in them who gave me some inside tip about what it’s like to wear one (wrap yourself up in ten garbage bags and run around!). I love analogies like that – I’m pretty sure one of my characters is going to be use that line soon.

Thanks sweetie, and ugh, I saw snow, it snowed in London last night. At least it didn’t stick around. Still it dicked around with the internet at work.

I woke up to about 2 inches 😀
My kids were so excited, they were putting their boots and coats on over their pajamas at 7am!

Oh that picture just gives me goosebumps, I hate winter too. Here we had snow too. It’s just a dreadfull sign that winter is coming and we can’t avoid it…Grrrr

I will take col just minus the snow..

I hope you get some more sleep, I’m still cheering for you with NaNo….Good luck

I guess it’s all in your perspective. I see it so rarely anymore that I’m envious. Not just of the snow but being anywhere North- Canada, London – shoot, even Arkansas!

In Louisiana we may not get into the 20’s but once this winter, if then. A couple of years ago it was 85 on Christmas Day! That’s just not right.

Amy & Wylie: Kids do change your perspective on snow as their excitement can be infectious. At least until they’re teenagers and want you to drive ’em around everywhere.

Marley: LOL, you say that now but get a good wind chill cutting through you and I’ll bet you’d hurry south in a hurry! But I’m with you – 85 at Christmas just isn’t right. I do like a white Christmas – but that’s the only time I’ll allow it to snow.
