I’m positively chuffed right now. On Sunday, I blogged about how Gizmo Guy is getting back into photography and last night I got a notification that this picture of the Hyatt Regency I took in Dallas last year has been shortlisted in a competition for a Dallas Map Guide.

Sue – I wondered if you remembered standing beside me as I took it. At the time, I remember thinking “she must think I’m a nut taking pictures like this.”
Bonnie – the prize is that my picture would be including in a map guide that people can download to their laptops or iPhones and my name would be there on the credit. That’s a big deal to photographers. For me, it’s just a squee moment.
That is a great picture, and I would know as I’m close to a Dallasite. Actually more of a Fort Worthite, but I’ve been to downtown many times.
