Back on track 5

It’s been so cold out today, that it’s been tough to keep the house warm. I’ve got the thermostat cranked up to 70 (generally it’s set to 68), but the office area is still bordering the lower end of the 60s. I’m at the point where I want to wear gloves while I’m typing.

I’ve written close to 3200 words today on Andy’s story. I ended up scrapping the original plot line – I’ll be able to keep it but realized that the plot would be better suited to Cooper’s story which will be further down the road – possibly book #4 or 5 if the series sells well. (Why do I always have these revelations when I’m close to 25K in?)

And that darned futuristic erotica is calling to me again. I’m starting to wonder if I should work on writing one in the morning and the other one in the evening. Especially since I can see the erotica being more of a novella than a full length novel. Grr.

I have to keep repeating the mantra: “Put the shinys away, Leah; they’ll still sparkle when you take them out to play next time.”

Love your shiny thing. I mean, angel. LOL

If you can work at two novels at once, you’ll be my hero. And then I’d have to kill you at the next meeting. 😉

    Bonnie’s not kidding. 😉

I’m glad the warmer weather is here. The sun is shining, there’s bird somewhere tweeting and I can see the snow on my roof sliding off. Huzzah!
