As I posted yesterday, I’m ‘abandoning’ Gizmo Guy and the boys for a wild girl’s weekend away and won’t be back until Monday. Yup, that’s how Gizmo Guy worded it – I was abandoning them. Yes, he was joking. They’ll get along fine. The house I’m not so sure about, but then I haven’t been looking after it so great myself lately. I can just seem them running around crazily on Monday morning, loading the dishwasher and such. In fact, if I know GG, he’ll delegate that to GH who will delegate everything to Curly. Hmm. Maybe I should have gone away last week while Curly was gone.
Tomorrow and Sunday’s posts are already written and will post automatically thanks to my guest blogger – Curly – who will be sharing with you some thoughts about his trip to Disneyworld last week. I will say that in a lot of his pictures he doesn’t look particularly happy, but he’s told me that he was attempting to look ‘cool’ instead of like a geeky tourist. I think the one picture we have of him smiling is when he’s surrounded by girls. Yeah, that’s enough to make any 18 year old boy smile, isn’t it?
My big news is that I now have a release date for Personal Protection aka Sam’s Story – May 12th. I’ve had a sneak peak at the cover too, but I can’t share that with you until it’s approved and it’s up on Samhain’s Coming Soon page. Which won’t happen until I create and submit the blurb, tagline and warnings. (Guess what I’ve been trying to do while I pack?) I’m sending them in before I leave this morning and hopefully in a couple of weeks I’ll be able to share everything with you.
I’ll be back Monday afternoon – in the meantime, have a great weekend, and don’t forget to drop by and leave some comments for Curly. He’ll probably need some lovin’ if he does end up being the low man on the housework totem pole.
