Corralling Questions for Lorelei James 3

Happy Victoria Day to all my Canadian friends. Putting on my Mom hat for a moment: remember not to finish those 2-4s and then drive. There have been enough reports of deadly crashes already this weekend.

You may have noticed over on my list of guest bloggers that Lorelei James is scheduled to return to my blog on August 4th. Insert huge SQUEE here.

Since Lorelei is incredibly busy with synopses and outlines and edits along with writing, I wanted to make things easier for her. So I’ve offered to send her some questions about her upcoming Blacktop Cowboy series for her to answer when she gets a chance rather than trying to write up a blog post for me.

A little background — the first in the Blacktop Cowboy series, Corralled, releases August 3rd from NAL (that’s the publisher, not a bookstore) and is available to pre-order at Amazon or The Book Depository.

First in a new series about some hard-riding rodeo cowboys…and the women who can rein them in.

Sports therapist Lainie Capshaw has been rehabilitating injured cowboys long enough to know that a charming western drawl combined with a fine physical form doesn’t mean you fall for the man.

So no one is more surprised than Lainie when she finds herself involved with not one, but two different men: Hank Lawson, a bullfighter, and Kyle Gilchrist, a bull rider. Lainie feels guilty about her two-timing, but it doesn’t keep her from doubling her fun-that is until Hank catches her with Kyle.

She’s shocked that Hank isn’t mad. But she’s more shocked to learn Hank and Kyle are hometown buddies. But when the men offer to share her-in every way-she knows that she’s going to have to choose the one man who can give her the ride of her life.

I know a few of you who, like me, are total Lorelei James fans.  So here’s where you come in. What do you want to know? Leave your questions in the comments.

Hope you're having a good Victoria Day weekend, Leah – just read your news about your dad, so I wanted to say how sad I am to hear that, and how it tends to put a different perspective on all the frantic happiness of a long weekend.

The Lorelei James book sounds amazing. How did she come up with the sports therapist character?

I love Lorelei James books. Big fan. I had a question. Is she planning on writing any single title books like Running with the Devil in the future? I really enjoyed that book and thought it would be cool if some popped up once in a while. LOL. Thanks. Great Post Leah.
