Coming up… 2

Lots of things are happening in my world right now, and I thought I should keep you up to date about posts I hope you’ll take the time to visit in the coming weeks:

Don’t forget that the Night Owl Romance Full Moon Hallowe’en Scavenger Hunt is still on-going.  You’ve got until the end of the month, October 31st, to get in your entries for a chance to win gift certificates, an iPad, a Kindle Fire… I’m giving away a $25 AMZN gift certificate. But there is some scavenging to do, so don’t leave it to the last minute.

Yesterday, I mentioned the anti-bullying blog. That goes on this Friday, October 19th.

Posts and prizes from Ruthie Knox, Robyn Carr, Leah Braemel, Cari Quinn, KA Mitchell, Molly O'Keefe, Jaci Burton, Anne Calhoun, Teresa Romaine, Samantha Hunter, Stephanie Sloan and Jill Shalvis at Happy-Ever-After USA Today.

I’m also going to be participating in The Twelve Days of Christmas Holiday Bash — twelve authors who have holiday stories coming out in the next few weeks have gotten together and will be posting about our favorite holiday books/movies/romances.  We’re going to be posting over at the Happy Ever After blog at the USAToday site, where we’ll be giving away a copy of our book, and we’ll be posting on our own websites where we’ll be giving away holiday goodies such as candies, ornaments, advent calendars, etc.  In keeping with the Canadian setting in I NEED YOU FOR CHRISTMAS, I went to the Haliburton Arts fair this summer and picked up some one-of-a-kind creations specifically for giveaways.

If you’re on Goodreads and love reading erotic romances, the Erotic Enchants group is holding a holiday bash  — so far there are almost 70 authors participating, including myself.

I have set my street team leaders to scouring the stores (online and brick-and-mortar) for the best man-candy 2013 calendars for my annual calendar giveaway.  I’m going to be giving away 2 this year — they’re still trying to decide on which firefighter calendar (they’ve narrowed it down between three); the second one will be the Studs and Spurs calendar. (Did you know they do the photoshoot only about 5 miles from where I live? Why can’t I ever run into these good looking guys?)  I also have some other interviews and blog hops coming up, so keep checking back so you don’t miss any of them.

      Hi Lori

The anti-bullying blog is a day a group of authors have set aside to blog about bullying and how it’s affected us or people we know and love. It’s being arranged by authors Mandy Roth and Yasmine Galenorn. You can find out more about it here: http://mandyroth.com/blog/2012/10/15/join-authors-against-bullying-on-friday-oct-19th/. Whether or not you’re an author, you can help spread the word. In Mandy’s words: Yasmine and I do still encourage all authors and NON authors wanting to share their stories to please do so and to please stop past our blogs and put links to your post in our comment sections and all other authors linked. Please feel free to use the graphic provided and to cross link to authors participating. This is such a worthy cause. (The graphic she mentions can be found on my sidebar or on her original post.)
