So as I’m adding books to my new Book Crawler app, I’m also adding yet-to-be-released books that I want to buy/read. Believe it or not, I tend to rely on my friends to keep me in the loop when it comes to other authors’ book releases.

I’ve added Jaci Burton’s  The Perfect Play … along with Jill Shalvis’ soon-to-be-released Animal Magnetism (Feb. 1, 2011) and the next in Lauren Dane’s Never Enough, the next in her Brown sibling series (though that isn’t being released until September. Waaah!)

But I know there are more books coming out soon that I need to add to that list. I’m on a big contemporary romance and/or women’s fiction kick at the moment. I’m pretty much done with paranormals, historical if it’s not a Regency England-set story (I’m sorry, I’ve read so many of them they all sound the same), and YA is definitely not on my radar. If JR Ward has a new BDB book coming out, let me know, same with Patricia Briggs, either with her Mercy Thompson series or her Alpha and Omega (that’s Charles and Anna’s) series.

So here’s your chance to pitch in: what books do you have tagged to buy/read when they’re released in the coming months?

I always buy anything Lorelei James/Lori Armstong puts out. Lorelei does erotic romance but Lori does mystery. Some person with two different personas. Mercy Kill comes out next week, second book in her newest series.

Maya Banks is another auto-buy. She has Colter's Daughter coming out around 1 Feb.

If you like a little kink is your romance, Cherise Sinclair is awesome. She has a new book in her Shadowlands series coming out in Feb.

Mari Carr finishes up her Wild Irish series this month. Another terrific author.

Sandra Hyatt's first book was released in 2009. I read it and her second book, so now I'm watching for her third book now out.

BTW, Leah, since you mentioned Jaci Burton's latest book above, I thought you'd like to know her blog this morning (as a matter of fact!) said, "Want to own an oversized postcard of the above cover to drool over while you wait for THE PERFECT PLAY‘s February 1st release? You know you do. If so, then email Fatin AT novelsidekick DOT com with your mailing info, and she’ll get one right out to you!" Don't know if you're interested in having one or not (drool, drool).

    Happy New Year!

I always read Claire Thompson's books and she has a new one coming out the end of this week, Dream Weaver.

Sophie Oak is a great up and comer. She has that same snarky and fun sense of humor you do. You have to try her books if you haven't already.

I understand Leah Braemel is going to be cranking out a number of books this year. I never miss hers, either!

Beth, Wow! Are you ever oganized. I can see quite a few in there I'm going to be highlighting and adding to my list. Thanks!

(I usually remember I 'meant' to buy them six months after they've been released…so people who can keep track of what's coming out inspire me.)

Got most of that info from this site.

I just need to go to individual authors sites now because I have heard about a couple books that are supposed to be out in 2011 that aren't on that site yet.
