While I was in New York, I got to meet Heather Long in person, albeit fleetingly and I wish I’d had more time to spend to talk to her. I’ve invited her to return as a guest blogger on Tuesday so you’ll get to meet her again too.

Making the arrangements to invite Heather back on my blog made me think — I’d stopped hosting guest bloggers while I was switching over from my Blogspot blog to here, intending to pick it up again but then I had two conferences to prepare for, along with two releases and just didn’t have the time. Now I’m wondering whether to start guest hosting again. It can take a lot of effort — hooking up with people to invite them to guest blog, following up if they forget to send a post in time, formatting their post (especially if there are lots of photos) etc. But I also enjoyed meeting new-to-me authors along with helping promote authors whose writing I enjoyed. But did you enjoy reading them? Or did you skip over the posts? Would you like me to bring back a guest blogger every week? Would you be more or less likely to read them if I only bring guests in sporadically? Are you like me and use Google Reader to pick and choose which blog posts to read based on the title?

On a totally different note, reviews have been rolling in for Tangled Past including one from Fresh Fiction:

The book primarily deals with prejudice and stretching the limits of love, but it is definitely erotic and there are numerous scorching sex scenes. Most of them are between Jackson and Sarah, but Nate does appear in a couple so keep that in mind if you don’t like ménage or male/male scenes. I found TANGLED PAST to be a sweet, believable ménage story with the perfect balance of plot, emotion, and steamy sex. ~Lisa Watts

Poor Lauren and Chad of Deliberate Deceptions seems to be shadowed by the threesome of Tangled Past…so I’m going to hold a contest. Leave a comment telling me your preferences about guest bloggers and I’ll give away an e-copy of Personal Protection so you can get to know Chad and the others in the Hauberk series. I’ll choose a winner on Monday morning so don’t dally…

I’d like to see guest bloggers, but my opinion may be biased because I’d like to be one. 😉

I love to read guest blogger posts, find new to me authors, check out their websites and books, read a little excerpt or two . . maybe buy a book if I get hooked 😀

There are sooo many authors out there I haven’t tried that it can be a little overwhelming – so it is nice to be spoonfed a new to me author now and again 😉

I like hosting guest bloggers at my blog, they break up my website which is primarily reviews. I have a couple scheduled over the next month.

I also like them on blogs that I follow. I have found a lot of new authors through guest blogs.

Estella (or anyone else who already has it) email me with any of my other books you might like. And if you own them all, still email me and I’ll come up with something for you.
