For the really far away (from me): if you’re in Australia, the Big W eBooks site now carries my books, so you now have another source, closer to home to buy them digitally. Just click here.

While we’re on the topic of where you buy your books — I’ve been including buy links to Amazon, B&N, All Romance eBooks, Sony, Kobo, etc, to make it easier for you to find my books on your favorite site. But I’m wondering if I’m including too many links. So out of interest — let me know in the comments which site you normally buy from and whether you use the button leading to the site. And do you prefer the graphic image or a text link?

A little closer to home (for me) is New Orleans.  The annual RT Book Reviews Convention is being held in New Orleans in May 2014.  If you’re planning on attending, the registration has just opened.

But note: the block of hotels RT reserved with the Marriott for the conference filled up within a week months ago. So there are currently no rooms available there. However, the conference people think/hope that some of the people who reserved rooms will end up not registering so they’re going to be checking between the conference registration and the hotel reservations and in a month will delete anyone who reserved a room but hasn’t registered. So if you reserved a room and do want to go, go register now.

If you haven’t registered yet and haven’t reserved a room either, you may want to check with RT about getting on a conference hotel waiting list to get one of those freed up rooms when they become available, or finding a different hotel in the area.

Yes, I will be going so you’ll be able to meet me there. Let me know if you’re planning on going!

I was both happy and disappointed to see the Big W ebookstore now stocked our books.
Happy, coz it’s always cool when Aussie sites stock our books, and disappointed coz they are so damn expensive! (Grr, makes me mad!)

See you at RT next year.

Hey Jess! I was shocked to find out how much more Australians have to pay for their books — it stopped me from complaining about the couple dollars the stores add on to our Canadian paperbacks. See you in NOLA in May!

Hey Leah — I only ever buy from amazon and never really pay any attention to the links on your page. When I see that you ohave a new book out (which I’ve usually already pre-ordered) I just go over to amazon and put in your name and find it. With my “antiquated” computer system, that’s the best way for me to do it. Wish I could make it to NOLA, but just don’t see it happening.

Thanks for letting me know about the links, Shirley. And RT won’t be my only conference next year — in addition to the hotel bill and any travel, the registration costs alone make it the priciest of the conferences unfortunately.
