Last week I was invited to be part of a Valentine’s Day feature on CBC Canada Writes in conjunction with 7 other Harlequin writers. They wanted us to set up the most romantic Valentine’s scene ever. In a 100 words or less.

I accepted the challenge — you can see my 100 words, and the other participants’ here.   If you want to see only mine, you can use this link.

Canadian button 100x100I was in the library listening to a Harlequin presentation yesterday when I got the email saying the links were live. I had a hard time not squealing aloud. You see, for a Canadian, being featured on the CBC is a huge deal. For those not familiar with the CBC, it’s our national government-sponsored radio/television station. Think BBC only Canadian.

But for me, it was not only being on the CBC that thrilled me but that out of all the Canadian authors Harlequin has, they asked me to be one of the participants. Thank you, thank you, thank you, to the good people at Harlequin and Carina Press who submitted my name. I am truly honored.

Oh, and don’t forget about the Canada Writes Valentine’s Day Twitter contest tomorrow…

A huge honor for this Canadian
