On July 21, I have a brand new novella coming out as part of the Good With His Hands series with 14 other authors featuring blue collar workers. For my story, Spark of Attraction, Malcolm is an electrician who owns his own business in the small lake-side town of Port Paxton in south-central Ontario, Canada. He is called to Ellie Hauser’s house when she plugs in her microwave and sparks start shooting out of the outlet. Malcolm and Ellie have known each other their whole lives and shared a single kiss back in high school. Then Ellie’s brother put a stop to those shenanigans by demanding Malcolm swear a blood oath that he never hit on Ellie again. Now Ellie’s back in town and once again the sparks are flying and not just from Ellie’s old Victorian’s decrepit electrical system.
While it’s part of the Good With His Hands collaboration, it will be available in digital through Kindle Unlimited until October, then I’ll take it wide. I will also be putting it out as a paperback for those who prefer to read that way.

Now widowed, Ellie has returned to Port Paxton and discovered the house she’s moved into has electrical problems, so I’m the first one she calls. That’s when the sparks really fly.
