I’m thrilled that Pining for You is out today!

on a background of a tree stump showing its rings, is the book cover with title Pining for You, and the text Now Available, and the tropes with arrows pointing to the cover: Insta-Love, age gap (older woman younger man), slice of life, tall girl heroine, small town romance, blue collar hero, emotional support chicken, cozy read. At the bottom is the link my book dot T O slash Pining For You

Chloe

Left high and dry and deeply in debt by a con artist ex, the only way out is a job I swore I’d never do again. Manual labor. It is the opposite of my dream job, plus I don’t want my parents pressuring me to take over their tree farm. But the pay at Pine Ridge Prunery is good, as are the benefits. One of which is hella-sexy arborist Brad Calhoun. We make a good team—in more ways than one—but I plan for this job to be temporary while Brad’s angling to settle in for life. The last thing I need is to depend on another self-employed man for a job.

Brad

I’ve never believed in love at first sight. Then I met Chloe. What’s not to love about a strong, confident woman who can wield a chain saw with ease? When I discovered she needed a job, I had no hesitation in recommending her for the open position at the tree service where I work. Except I’m stuck with two problems: dating coworkers is against company policy, and Chloe insists we aren’t compatible despite our chemistry. Then why does my heart float whenever she’s around?

This set-in-Canada (in the fictional small town of Port Paxton, the same as Spark of Attraction) story is available through Amazon both in digital to buy or through Kindle Unlimited, and as a paperback. (It will be available as a paperback through other worldwide online bookstores shortly; it just takes a little longer to populate through Ingram Spark so it may not show up at other stores for a few weeks.)

I came up with the concept of Brad and Chloe and started researching and jotting down notes for their story last December, and started writing it in January. Then real life took a dark turn and I found myself unable to work on it except in short segments, sometimes weeks apart. There was more than one time that I texted a friend, certain I was going to have to withdraw from the collaboration and maybe get it written by next year. Luckily my friend had more faith in me than I did, and I managed to finish Brad and Chloe’s story–and get it edited–in time for its regular release day. Thank heavens for good friends and my fantastic editor who was equally supportive of my abilities to meet this deadline.
